Accepted formats (updated to include 4K - please note 2K resolutions are not accepted)

Container/file formats: .MOV, .MP4, .MXF, .AVI, .MPG, (includes DPP MXF OP1a formats).

Codecs (recommended): Apple ProRes, PhotoJPEG, MotionJPEG, H264, AVC-Intra, Avid DNxHD

Codecs (all): Uncompressed, ProResHQ, ProRes422, ProResLT, DV, MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, H264, PhotoJPEG, MJPEGA, MJPEGB, XDCAM HD, XDCAM EX, HDV.

The video must also match one of the frame rates and corresponding frame sizes from the table below.


Additional notes for submission to Clearcast (UK advertising clearance agency):

1) The Certificate must contain the full clock number (e.g ABC/DEFG123/030) .
2) The Duration displayed on the certificate must be at least as long as the commercial (i.e. the entire commercial must be tested, not just part of it).
3) The Video Standard must be one of the following: 576i50, 576p25, 720p50, 1080i50, 1080p25.

All certificates generated by HardingTest.com use the most up to date Harding algorithms and comply with Clearcast's requirements as well as the AS-11 DPP specification for digital delivery to the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky and other UK broadcasters.
